The English Language Institute (ELI) is teaming up with Rackham to organize a Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) event. 3MT® is a research communication competition developed by the University of Queensland, Australia. The exercise develops academic, presentation, and research communication skills and supports the development of research students' capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes in a language appropriate to an intelligent but non-specialist audience. The preliminary and final competitions will be held on November 10th and 11th at the Rackham Amphitheater. These are open to the public. We hope you will attend. Times to be announced. For more information contact Theresa Rohlck at trohlck@umich.edu.
