Calling all insect lovers to an annual gathering of entomologists to to celebrate the vernal equinox and share stories.

Breaking Diapause is an annual gathering of entomologists to to celebrate the vernal equinox and share stories. Tours will be given of the new collections facility and the meeting will take place in our new presentation room. For those who attended the BD in 2013 at Varsity Drive, you will be amazed at the changes and upgrades of the new facility.

Breaking Diapause is a good way to meet fellow professional and avocational entomologists. Feel free to bring examples of what you are working on,  stories from recent field trips, and connect with others who might have congruent interests.

Directions:
The collections at Varsity Drive are located south of the intersection of State Street and I-94 (exit 177, State Street) at 3600 Varsity Drive, which will house collections for the U-M Herbarium, Museum of Zoology, the Museum of Anthropology and the Museum of Paleontology.

From State Street - take the round-about E onto Ellsworth Road; then after crossing the RR track, at the next traffic light, turn left onto Varsity Drive, and follow it to the end.
