Philanthropist and Community Volunteer, TN
Margaret "Maggie" Cobb-Boyd is a life-long philanthropist and community volunteer, in Memphis and Germantown, TN. She has served on a wide range of community boards such as the Memphis Symphony board, the Youth Symphony Board (President), and the LeBonheur Hospital Club board, among others. Maggie has worked on initiatives, such as the long-term strategic development plan for the city of Germantown and the opening of the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis.
In her professional life, she was with Morgan Stanley, Union Planters, and City National Bank of Detroit. As a student at the University of Michigan, she interned with NBD, which lead to an internship as a research analyst in the University’s Office of Development. These internships are what have led her to her interest in strengthening the internship opportunities for students at Michigan.
Maggie has been married to Marion “Boots” Boyd for 30 years and has a daughter Louisa.
