Undergraduate Students

The Center for the Study of Complex Systems offers an undergraduate academic minor in
complex systems. The minor is designed to give students an understanding of complexity
science and learn how those concepts can be applied to a variety of functional areas. Detailed
information is available on our Academic Minor page.

The Center offers a number of undergraduate courses which fulfill requirements for the minor.
A few CSCS courses fulfill distribution requirements for the College of LSA. Our Undergrad
Courses page lists current course offerings.

Fellowships, internships and career opportunities can be found here.

CSCS recently formed a new undergraduate student group called CSIDE. More information
about this group will be coming soon.

Although there is no formal concentration in complex systems, undergraduate students
can design their own complex systems major through the College of LSA’s Individual
Concentration Program.
