Winter 2017 Community-Based Learning Courses!

Courses designated as Community Based Learning (CBL):

  1. Involve ongoing working relationships between students and local or global communities;
  2. Are premised on reciprocity and mutual benefit for students and the partnering communities; and
  3. Employ a structured, reflective pedagogy that aims to address assumptions about self and community, develop creativity and adaptability, and prepare students for participation in a diverse democracy.

NOTE: Faculty and staff can request CBL course tagging for a course by completing this brief form.
