CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: Arctic Internship Fellowship

The Arctic Internship Fellowship provides up to $2,000 in funding to a limited number of University of Michigan undergraduate students to:

Application Process

  • Students wishing to intern at the Labrador Institute, will apply through the LSA International Internship Program (IIP), housed within Global Opportunities in the LSA Opportunity Hub. Applicants will receive all the benefits of participating in the LSA IIP. These placements are managed by the Program in International and Comparative Studies (PICS).
  • Students intending to intern in Sweden through the LSA International Internship Program (IIP) with a reputable organization with a focus on the Arctic, may also apply. Placements are managed by the LSA IIP.
  • Students wishing to create an independent student-designed research project or those who have secured their own internship should apply via MCompass.

Funding

Funding for all positions in the Arctic is available from PICS. Selected students will need to apply via MCompass for funding.
