It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 36th Annual Pharmacological Sciences and Bio-related Chemistry Symposium.

Our keynote speaker this year will be Dr. Richard Silverman, developer of the blockbuster drug Lyrica, from Northwestern University presenting: “CPP-115: A Novel GABA Aminotransferase Inactivator and Potential New Treatment for Epilepsy, Addiction, and Hepatocellular Carcinoma”.

Dr. George Mashour, Director of the Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research (MICHR), will give a talk on clinical ethics. Several student talks and a poster session, with cash prizes, will also take place.  We hope to see you there!

Abstract Submission Form

The Pharmacological Sciences Training Program (PSTP) is funded by the NIH and administered by the Departments of Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology. The training grant provides scientific training and financial support for select graduate students and offers a forum for students across multiple disciplines to present their original research and engage in stimulating scientific discussion.
