Renovations continue on the 3rd and 4th floors of the north wing of West Hall as members of the department prepare to move. On August 5th, most of the faculty and staff will make a short trek down the sidewalk to new digs on the third floor of West Hall. A few weeks latter, on August 22, the rest of the department will head over to the 4th floor of West Hall. Everyone should be settled by the time fall term starts on September 2.

Phone numbers should follow everyone without change. The department’s new address will be:

311 West Hall
1085 South University Ave.
Ann Arbor, MI 48109-1107

The astronomy department has been in the Dennison building since 1963, when it made the move from the Detroit Observatory.
