Congratulations on your decision to attend the University of Michigan. In thinking through the process, you determine that you will require help with the initial steps...How does one apply for admission, find and arrange accommodations? How does one get around (transit/navigate to class) on campus?
You already know us.
At your orientation, you are assigned an LSA general academic advisor. We all come from varied backgrounds and life experiences. We majored in the liberal arts as undergraduates, attended graduate school, studied and lived abroad, taught in college and high school, and worked in businesses and nonprofit organizations. We’ll meet you at orientation and say goodbye at graduation. And along the way, we will help you succeed.
Think about courses and consider majors.
Connect with campus resources, manage challenges, and understand policies and procedures.
Integrate curricular/co-curricular experiences and investigate life after graduation.
Give us a call.
To schedule an appointment with any of our academic advisors, just stop by our front desk (1255 Angell Hall), or call 734.764.0332 during our normal business hours (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm and Tuesday, Thursday, 8:00 am–7 pm).
