General Guidelines for Bachelor of Science Eligibility
The bachelor of science degree requires 60 credits in physical and natural science and mathematics. Listed here are the general guidelines for which courses are automatically included in (and excluded from) the 60-credit count.
Petitions for Bachelor of Science Credit
Currently there is no petition form to request B.S. credit for a course that is not on the approved list. If you would like to request B.S. credit, your petition should be a letter to the Academic Standards Board. In the letter you should explain why you feel the course in question merits B.S. credit, referencing the general guidelines for B.S. eligibility. Please include a course syllabus and a detailed course description.
