Experiential Teaching Kits

Korea Kit

Bring culture alive to your students! Free to use, the Korea Kits are sets of materials to explore aspects of Korean life, culture, and history available to educators anywhere in the continental United States. The Korea Kits cover four broad themes (see detailed descriptions below) in a treasure box of cultural artifacts, books, DVDs, CDs, and images that students can see, touch, hear, and explore.

"The diverse collection of books, cultural objects and DVDs is second to none. Our appreciation of all things Korean has been overwhelmingly enlarged."-L. Paek, Leonard, TX

Other Materials

The Nam Center for Korean Studies also has additional print materials, CDs, and DVDs that may be useful for K-14 audiences. In response to the various needs of educators and parents, individuals may also create a "custom kit" from these available items. Please e-mail the Korea Kit coordinator to discuss your specific needs.
