Supporting the LSA Vision
Perhaps a dozen liberal arts colleges in this country qualify as distinguished centers of learning. The University of Michigan's College of Literature, Science, and the Arts holds a prominent place on this list. In LSA's departments and programs and in its museums and field stations, discoveries are made; knowledge is generated; and the world is ultimately changed.
After raising $350 million during the Michigan Difference campaign, LSA solidified the foundation on which this important work is done. Moving forward, the College is deepening its focus on improving undergraduate student experience. Despite rising costs, our students must be able to take their education beyond the classroom, engaging in the internships, research opportunities, community service, and international experiences.
Volunteering time and contributing funds can help ensure that tomorrow's LSA undergraduates are offered the very best opportunities and they can seize those opportunities when they are presented.
